Nice location in the city centre near the train station. Got the impression it was an old hotel, but with modern facilities. Nice breakfast, and the dinner buffet, which in my case was included, was really good (the bad thing was that it would be a waste having dinner at some of the nice restaurants in the neighbourhood). Plus for having breakfast from 07.00 in the weekends.

Perfect location for a couple of days in Karlsrad. 5 minutes walks from the train station and the same from the city center. Good beds. Home-made pie for fika in the afternoon and good breakfast.

Comfortable, homey, clean. Good location for transitioning along the road to Oslo. Very good breakfast buffet with the best assortment of breads. And a local homey dinner buffet to boot! Well worth it.

A really friendly, characterful hotel. Outstanding value (we had room, dinner and breakfast). Meals were really tasty and high quality with lots of variety at the buffets. Friendly, well stocked bar, frequented by residents and locals too, which made it like a proper bar, not a sterile corporate hotel bar at all. Fantastic location just opposite the station and adjacent to shopping and riverside walks. Would thoroughly recommend.

I was late arriving the first night. The manager went out of her way to provide me with a delicious hot meal. The breakfast was very good.
