Clarion Collection Hotel Drott

Excellent hotel! I’m very glad I chose to stay here—everything was of outstanding quality, even by Sweden’s high hotel standards. The room was clean and spacious, the hotel uses sustainable cleaning practices, great internet speed, and lovely SPA facilities. Both the breakfast and dinner buffets were excellent. I’d happily stay here again. Thank you!

A really friendly, characterful hotel. Outstanding value (we had room, dinner and breakfast). Meals were really tasty and high quality with lots of variety at the buffets. Friendly, well stocked bar, frequented by residents and locals too, which made it like a proper bar, not a sterile corporate hotel bar at all. Fantastic location just opposite the station and adjacent to shopping and riverside walks. Would thoroughly recommend.

Dinner and breakfast was included in our price. Both were excellent. The lady that registered us was helpful as bookings didn’t label some paperwork right so they didn’t know our room was paid for. She went above in her job to figure the problem. She was also helpful to explain where to park. All employees were friendly. Also had Fika in the afternoon.

Excellent dinner. Breakfast was stunning. The location was nice - very close to the train station in the center of town. The decor was fresh. The staff professional, courteous and welcoming. I was delighted with my stay.

An exceptional stay! Amazing meals, fresh and delicious. Breakfast, dinner, and “Fika” were included. Situated in the heart of Karlstad, the hotel and many sites are accessible by bus or on foot. The staff were all extremely friendly and accommodating. The room was quiet, clean, and comfortable. If I’m back in Karlstad this is the only place I’ll stay!
